Abstract

The method involves setting an evaporator temperature (TV) in overrun mode lower than in loaded mode of the motor vehicle by regulating the power of the compressor. The evaporator temperature is at least occasionally set to less than 0 degrees Celsius in overrun mode. The generator power is regulated by varying its stroke volume (HV). An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle air conditioning system.
