Abstract

At least some parts of the construction element (11) are provided with a protective material (12). The protective material is formed by a frame (13) made from soft material, preferably rubber and/or plastic. A preferably glass fibre nonwoven is laminated to one or both faces of the construction element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) Noise damping and/or insulation device containing a stud wall incorporating at least one of these glass foam construction elements; (b) Noise damping and/or insulation device comprising at two of these glass foam construction elements abutting each other; (c) Gas conduit with noise damping and/or insulation, which is at least partly clad or constructed with at least one of the glass foam construction elements; (d) Noise damping and/or insulation device containing at least one of the glass foam construction elements mounted at a given distance from a wall and/or a ceiling; and (e) Noise damping screen for installation in a gas conduit, comprising at least one of these glass foam construction elements.
