Abstract

The guided vehicle may be a monorail with a magnetic system for suspension and/or propulsion. The electrical circuit incorporates a damping resistor to suppress unwanted oscillations which may damage the insulation of the magnet coils and the iron core. The resistor may be connected in parallel with a capacitor and is not in series with the magnet coils.
