Abstract
A multiphase (m-phase) voltage rectifier has m-inputs to 2m-unlatched control power components, which are arranged in parallel opposition circuit, in which the components are capable of driving at the fundamental frequency of the supply with 2m rectifier diodes of an m-phase rectifier and have a DC link output. During operation of the power component, which is connected to the most positive voltage phase, and the power component which is connected to the most negative voltage phase, in order to make available a path for the power flow from the DC link circuit in which the gate supply of at least one of the power components is monitored in relation to the time for a display to be made of the drop out of at least one input voltage.
