Abstract

The unit comprises a strut (2) with a shock absorber (4) accommodated with its upper end (9) in a coil (3) wider in its lower area and forming an acute angle with the backwards tilted strut (2). The steering axis formed by the ball joint (7) and the upper end of the strut (9) is positioned in an acute angle of a smaller dimension than the angle between the strut (2) and the rear of the coil spring (3). The joint area between the strut (2) and the caliper holding element (6) is positioned in front of the wheel center, while the upper end of the strut (9) is located behind the center of the wheel.
