Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer magerlauffähigen Brennkraftmaschine mit einem in einem Abgastrakt der Brennkraftmaschine angeordneten NO¶x¶-Speicherkatalysator. Hierbei wird ein Zustand einer NO¶x¶-Speicherfähigkeit und einer O¶2¶-Speicherfähigkeit des NO¶x¶-Speicherkatalysators adaptiert und mit dem adaptierten Zustand auf der Basis eines Modells für den NO¶x¶-Speicherkatalysator in frischem Zustand ermittelt, wann die NO¶x¶-Speicherfähigkeit des NO¶x¶-Speicherkatalysators erschöpft ist und in diesem Fall eine Regeneration des NO¶x¶-Speicherkatalysators angefordert, wobei eine Reduktionsmittelmenge zur Umsetzung der im NO¶x¶-Speicherkatalysator gespeicherten NO¶x¶- und O¶2¶-Menge berechnet und auf der Basis der berechneten Reduktionsmittelmenge die Regeneration des NO¶x¶-Speicherkatalysators gesteuert durchgeführt wird.
