Abstract

A wall has a door aperture to which a sheet metal door frame profile is attached by a number of folded sheet metal anchorage fittings. The door frame has a void to accommodate a noise-insulation and impact-absorbing packing material. The void and the folds have both have shallow sections adjacent to the doorframe. The shallow sections are parallel and transposed with respect to each other.
