Abstract

The machine has a housing (10), a tool spindle (18), a chuck for holding a tool, a drive motor, a gearbox, a percussion mechanism and a spindle locking arrangement with a clamping body. A collar bush (26) is fixed to the spindle with a collar (28) interacting with the end of an output gear wheel (16) to transfer an impact motion in hammer drilling mode. The outer surface and the other end of the collar interact with a clamping body coupling (32) to transfer the rotation to the spindle, whereby a safety slipping clutch is clamped by a plate spring packet (36) and the clamping body coupling is coupled to the collar bush by the clamping force.
