Abstract

A roof opening (9) and movable roof closing device (12) close up or partly release the roof opening fitted between two front movable side spars (5,5') on a motor vehicle's roof (2). The two side spars move on bearings crosswise on the vehicle's roof and can be adjusted between their outer position and inner position brought closer on both sides, when the roof opening is uncovered.
