Mit abnehmender Feuchtigkeit nimmt die Leitfähigkeit des Haares ab; ist das Haar trocken, dann ist sein Widerstand so hoch. daß der Stromkreis unterbrochen ist ; in Abhängigkeit hiervon geschaltete elektrische Meßinstrumente oder Signallampen sollen dem Bedienungspersonal den jeweiligen Trockenzustand des Haares anzeigen.
