Aufserdem ist als ein Hauptvortheil der Vorrichtung der Umstand zu betrachten, dafs die Conservir- (keimtödtende) Flüssigkeit, in welche das Catgut selbst gelegt wird, gleichmäfsig aufgesogen wird. Dies ist von besonderer Wichtigkeit, wenn das Catgut mit keimtödtenden Flüssigkeiten getränkt werden soll, da eine Nichtbenetzung des Darmes durch die Flüssigkeit bei dieser Vorrichtung ausgeschlossen ist.The plates α of equal size are rigidly connected by the rod b .
