Description
Verfahren zur Erzielung von Koksersparnissen beim Schachtofen Es ist bereits bekannt, zur Verzögerung der Verbrennung von Koks bei der Erzeugung von Eisen aus Erzen in Schacht- oder Schmelzöfen den Koks mit feuersicheren Stoffen zu imprägnieren. Ferner ist es bekannt, zur Erzielung von Koksersparnis beim Schachtofenbetrieb den Koks mit einem verschlackbaren Überzug zu versehen. Hierfür wird im Schrifttum z. B. Kalkmilch, der auch feingemahlener Quarz beigemengt sein kann, vorgeschlagen, oder es sollen Zement oder Ton, denen auch Schamottemehl beigemengt sein kann, verwendet werden.
