Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine in eine Wand- oder Deckenöffnung einsetzbare Beleuchtungseinheit, bestehend aus einem Gehäuse mit einer vorderseitigen Lichtaustrittsfläche und einer rückseitigen Fläche. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Beleuchtungseinheit der eingangs genannten Art dahingehend zu verbessern, dass einerseits eine Herabsetzung unerwünschter Strahlung erfolgt und zum anderen der Einbau in die Öffnung erleichtert wird. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass die rückseitige Fläche eine mit der elektrischen Stromversorgung in der Öffnung zusammenwirkende Anschlusseinrichtung für die elektrische Versorgung einer am oder im Gehäuse angeordneten Ansteuerelektronik trägt, welche zur Ansteuerung von als Leuchtmittel dienenden Leuchtdiodengruppen ausgebildet ist, die in einer zur Lichtaustrittsfläche parallelen Ebene angeordnet sind.The invention relates to a lighting unit that can be inserted into a wall or ceiling opening, consisting of a housing with a front light exit surface and a rear surface.
