Description

The invention relates to a holder for a mast, in particular a light frame with which this can be attached to a railing.

Such poles are installed, for example, with a luminaire mounted on its top, when illuminating a stair case and wall mounting of the luminaire is not possible. The light frame, which is usually a tubular mast that has a light at its upper end, is mounted on two such brackets on a banister or scaffolding. Such lamp frames can also be used when there is no need to permanently install a lamp, for example because a workplace is only to be illuminated for the duration of repair or maintenance work.

The use of masts is by no means limited to light fixtures. Various applications are known and conceivable. It is known to tilt such poles for maintenance and repair purposes, for example to allow better access to the lamp to be serviced at the top of the lamp frame.
