Die Masse sollte langsam erhitzt werden und nicht kochen (<96°C). Die Feststoffe werden durch Filtrierung durch ein Passiertuch reduziert. Nach Abkühlen auf Raumtemperatur (15-25°C) werden 2,5% DMSO 99,9% (PhEur) zugesetzt. Das DMSO ist hierbei die entscheidende Zutat. Es dient als Carrier für die Wirkstoffe in die Zelle und steigert die Wirkung deutlich.
