Abstract

One aspect of the invention relates to a household appliance set (19) with at least two separate household appliances (8, 20) which have differently arranged front frames (12, 22). Description

One aspect of the invention relates to a household appliance set with at least two household appliances. One aspect of the invention relates to a household appliance with a housing and a receiving space into which objects intended to be stored and/or treated with the household appliance can be introduced. This receiving space is formed in the housing. The household appliance also has a door. The door is movably arranged on the housing and is arranged to close the receiving space. The household appliance has a front frame which, at least in part, surrounds a separate front panel of the door as a front-side visible component, at least when the door is closed.

A cooking appliance with a housing, a door for closing a cooking chamber and stationary front parts that are separate from the door and surround it in some areas is known, for example, from DE 10 2008 041 494 A1 known.

The front parts there should be flush with the front of the door. The one-piece U-shaped component there, which has a horizontal base part and strips projecting vertically downwards from it, is on the one hand difficult to manufacture and on the other hand difficult to assemble.

Close areas that border the door to the side and/or above and/or below can only be covered to a limited extent. However, this should be provided for in particular with built-in appliances in order to then also cover gaps between the door and a furniture wall to the rear. However, different household appliances sometimes have different door conditions, so that a blanket cover is sometimes only suitable to a limited extent.

Household appliance sets are also known that have several household appliances, in particular two, arranged next to each other. For example, such a set consists of an oven and a warming drawer arranged directly underneath. This set can be arranged in a recess in a furniture wall. Especially when the doors of the two household appliances open in different ways, the requirements for covering a close area next to the housings are more complex.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a household appliance set and a household appliance in which an area adjacent to the door can be covered to the rear as required.

This object is achieved by a household appliance set and household appliance according to the independent claims.

This allows a set of at least two different household appliances to be better configured with regard to the front cover of the close areas directly adjacent to the housing, particularly air areas. Especially when the appliances have different types of opening for their doors, the front frames can be designed and arranged to match. Nevertheless, a concept with the front frames that appears practically identical on the front side can then be made possible. In particular, this also means that smaller doors and/or household appliance spaces with a smaller opening width can be made possible with a front frame, without the front frame getting in the way when the door is opened and taking up installation space for the opening width.

In one embodiment, the first household appliance has a door that is a swing door or a folding door. In such concepts, the front frame can also be arranged outside the door. This means that the front frame is not connected to the door Coupled and can, for example, be arranged stationary on the housing of the first household appliance.

In one embodiment, the second household appliance has a door which is a drawer that can be moved linearly, in particular in the depth direction of the household appliance. In one embodiment, the front panel of the door of the first household appliance has a vertical height in the closed position of the door of at least 32 cm, preferably at least 43 cm.

In one embodiment, the front panel of the door of the second household appliance has a vertical height in the closed position of the door of at most 30 cm, preferably at most 20 cm. Such doors are intended for smaller loading openings of receiving spaces. In the case of small door openings, it is advantageous if the front frame is attached to the door so that the operator has as unhindered access as possible to the interior of the receiving space.

In one embodiment, the first household appliance is an oven or a steam oven or a steam cooker or a microwave cooking appliance.

One aspect of the invention relates to a household appliance with a housing and a receiving space into which objects intended to be stored and/or treated with the household appliance can be introduced. This receiving space is formed in the housing. The household appliance also has a door. The door is movably arranged on the housing and is arranged to close the receiving space. The household appliance has a front frame which, at least in part, surrounds a separate front panel of the door as a front-side visible component, at least when the door is closed.

A cover panel is fixed to the housing. With this cover panel, an air area adjacent to the side of the housing, which can also be referred to as the near area, is covered from the front by the cover panel when viewed in the depth direction of the household appliance, at least in the width direction of the household appliance. When the door is closed, the cover panel is arranged so that it overlaps at least partially with the front panel of the door when viewed in the width direction.

This type of concept makes it possible to better cover the areas adjacent to the door so that they are no longer visible when the household appliance is viewed from the front. A cover panel and a front frame create an entire cover system. This cover system can be individually configured and therefore allows for a large number of variants in order to be able to deal with a wide variety of situations with regard to the structure of a household appliance, and in particular the door, as well as the area surrounding the household appliance. This new concept with a cover panel and the front frame therefore also increases flexibility in order to be able to meet a wide variety of requirements when covering the front of such areas that are adjacent to the door and the household appliance and that represent air spaces. In particular, when household appliances are made with doors that can be opened in different ways, for example they can be swung open or swung open and at the same time retracted into a storage space of the household appliance, they can be configured in terms of this adjacent air area cover just as well as household appliances in which a folding door can be swung around a horizontal axis on the one hand or a vertical axis on the other. This concept with the cover panel and the front frame is also particularly advantageous in that it can be used as a basic system for all these different types of household appliances and/or different environmental conditions of the household appliance.

Especially when installing a household appliance in a built-in niche, as is the case with built-in appliances, different situations can arise with regard to gaps that arise between a household appliance, in particular a housing and/or a door of the household appliance, and an adjacent boundary wall that borders the built-in niche. In such constellations in particular, the new concept with the cover panel and the front frame is particularly advantageous in allowing flexible and variable responses to these installation situations. This also makes it particularly advantageous to be able to fully cover individual gaps that arise between the household appliance and the boundary wall, so that these gaps are also completely covered when the arrangement is viewed from the front. Nevertheless, it is then also possible for the functionality of the household appliance, in particular the operation of the door, to not be restricted.

In one embodiment, the front frame is a separate component from the cover panel. This further increases flexibility and expands the range of variants with regard to the different situations mentioned above. The positioning and/or configuration and/or geometric design of the cover panel on the one hand and the front frame on the other hand, as well as their possible combinations, are therefore diverse.

In one embodiment, the front frame is arranged on the cover panel. The front frame can be arranged directly on the cover panel. A detachable or non-detachable connection can be formed here. In such an embodiment, the front frame is arranged decoupled from the door. This means that the door can be moved relative to and independently of the front frame. In addition to or instead of this, the front frame can be arranged on the housing. In this regard, the corresponding advantages arise as explained above for the arrangement of the front frame on the cover panel. These individual direct coupling options for the front frame outside the door also enable a wide variety of positioning and configurations. This also makes it possible to take into account individual situations with regard to the design of the household appliance, in particular its door and/or its ability to move, and/or with regard to the installation situation in a built-in niche.

In an alternative embodiment, the front frame can be arranged on the door. In such an embodiment, the front frame is then coupled in terms of movement to the door. In particular, in such an embodiment, the front frame can be arranged on a door assembly that adjoins the front panel at the rear. This means that it can be attached directly to the door in a mechanically stable manner. Even if its basic functionality means that it protrudes to the side and/or upwards and/or downwards over the front panel, it is still securely attached when force is applied. In such an embodiment in particular, it is then also advantageous that the front frame and the cover panel are present, in particular as separate components. This air area that adjoins the side of the housing can then be covered in any position of the door.

In one embodiment, the front frame extends further outwards than the cover panel, at least in the width direction of the household appliance. If the front frame is arranged directly on the door in such an embodiment, the cover panel can be pushed through the front frame when the door is closed. be covered on the side, in particular completely covered. This also allows additional improved protection against the ingress of media, such as dust or the like, into this lateral air area to the housing, especially when the household appliance is installed in a niche as a built-in appliance. If, in this context, the cover panel is narrower, in particular so narrow that it extends less to the side of the housing than, for example, a gap between a built-in appliance and/or a boundary wall of the installation niche, the remaining area of this gap can be completely covered at the front by this front frame which also extends further outwards.

In one embodiment, the cover panel has at least one panel part which has smaller dimensions in a spatial direction that is oriented perpendicular to the plane in which the wall of the housing extends, on the side of which the cover panel is arranged, than in the spatial directions through which the plane is spanned. This creates a relatively narrow panel part in this spatial direction oriented perpendicular to the plane. It can therefore also cover the immediate vicinity of this air area that adjoins the housing laterally towards the front. In particular, even with relatively small gaps between the housing and a boundary wall in a built-in niche, this panel part of the cover panel can thus be covered. In particular, this panel part protrudes into the gap when viewed in the depth direction. Nevertheless, a cover panel that is stable in itself is created, which has larger dimensions in these other spatial directions. This also enables mechanically stable assembly and creates a mechanically robust and relatively torsion-resistant cover panel. In one embodiment, the cover panel can only be formed by this panel part.

In one embodiment, the panel part is completely covered from the front in the spatial direction oriented perpendicular to the plane by the closed door, in particular the front panel of the door. This means that it is completely covered from the front when the door is closed. This can be the case in particular if the door has a front panel that extends further in this spatial direction perpendicular to the said plane than the rest of the door assembly adjoining this front panel. In such an embodiment, this front panel can also extend further outwards in this spatial direction than the housing. This means that when the door is closed, this air area adjacent to the side of the housing can also be covered from the front by this front panel of the door, at least in part, when the door is closed. However, in order not to find this adjoining air area exposed when the door is open, the panel part mentioned, in particular the cover panel mentioned, is advantageous in this embodiment.

In one embodiment, the cover panel can have a further panel part. This can be arranged at an angle to the above-mentioned first panel part. This further panel part cannot be completely covered by the door from the front when the door is closed. With such an angled cover panel, which is designed in cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cover panel and is formed in particular from these two panel parts mentioned, the fastening option can be expanded. This is because a certain overlap of this further panel part can also be provided, for example with a boundary wall that borders a built-in niche. This also enables a more extensive, in particular complete, covering of this air area that adjoins the side of the housing at the front. In particular when this air area is formed by a gap that is located between a wall of the housing and the adjacent and spaced-apart boundary wall of the built-in niche.

In one embodiment, the cover panel is completely covered from the front by the front frame when the door is closed. Such an embodiment makes it possible to achieve a redundant double function of this front cover of the air area adjacent to the side. In particular, this also makes it possible, for example, for this cover panel to be completely covered from the front by the front frame alone when the door is closed. It is then also possible for the door not to cover the cover panel or not to cover it completely in this direction of extension. In particular, if the door has a front panel that extends further in this direction of extension than the rest of the door assembly, particularly towards the rear, the front panel is not arranged to overlap the cover panel in this direction of extension or only partially overlaps the cover panel when the door is closed. With such constructions of the door in relation to the cover panel, it is advantageous if the front frame alone completely covers this cover panel from the front when the door is closed. In particular, in such an embodiment, the front frame can be arranged directly on the door and thus be coupled in terms of movement with the door.

In one embodiment, the front frame can be arranged in a contactless manner with the separate cover panel. This makes it possible to avoid relative movements between the front frame and the cover panel, which would lead to scratching of at least one of the two parts.

In one embodiment, the front frame can be L-shaped or T-shaped in a cross section, in particular when viewed perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. In such an embodiment, sub-elements of the front frame are arranged at a specific angle to one another. The angles of the frame parts mentioned can in particular be 90°. However, in one embodiment they can also be arranged at a different angle, so that, for example, such an angle can be between 20° and 70°, in particular between 30° and 50°. In an embodiment in which the front frame is T-shaped in cross section, the leg of the front frame that forms the T-roof can extend in the depth direction of the cooking appliance. Viewed in this depth direction, it can extend at least partially overlapping with the front panel of the door. In particular, it can also be positioned in this depth direction so that it overlaps with the cover panel. For example, an overlap with another panel part mentioned above can result here when viewed in this depth direction. The leg of the front frame that forms the T-bar can be oriented in the width direction. It can be attached directly to a remaining assembly of the door formed behind the front panel.

If in one embodiment the front frame is L-shaped in cross-section, the arrangement can be corresponding. The L-leg oriented in the depth direction can then be arranged in particular without overlapping in the depth direction with the cover panel.

In one embodiment, the cover panel can be located completely behind the front panel of the door when viewed in the depth direction of the household appliance. However, when the door is closed, it can be arranged so as to overlap with the rest of the door assembly, which adjoins the front panel at the rear, when viewed in the depth direction.

Not only here, the front panel can have larger dimensions than the rest of the assembly, especially when viewed in the width direction of the household appliance.

In one embodiment, the front frame extends in the depth direction of the household appliance, overlapping the front panel. In particular, an overlap is formed here over the entire depth of the front panel. In one embodiment, an overlap in some areas can also be formed in this depth direction with the depth of a remaining assembly of the door that adjoins the front panel at the back.

In one embodiment, the household appliance is a built-in appliance. In particular, in this context it is designed as such a built-in appliance. It is therefore not intended to be arranged as a free-standing household appliance. It is precisely with such built-in appliances that the gaps already explained above occur between the housing and a boundary wall that delimits the installation niche. These can be covered in a variety of ways and in a highly variable manner using the above-mentioned idea and the above-mentioned embodiments and can therefore be used for a wide variety of household appliance types and/or for a wide variety of variants of a door and/or a door opening movement option and can be individually configured.

A further aspect of the invention relates to an arrangement with a built-in niche in a furniture wall and with a household appliance according to the above-mentioned aspect or an advantageous embodiment thereof. The household appliance is arranged in particular in the built-in niche. An air area laterally adjacent to the household appliance, which is formed by a gap between the household appliance and a furniture wall that delimits the built-in niche, is completely covered towards the front by the cover panel and the front frame when the door is closed, viewed in the depth direction.

In 1 an arrangement 1 is shown in a schematic representation. The arrangement 1 has at least one built-in niche 2. The built-in niche 2 is part of a furniture wall 3.
