Folgende Vorteile ergeben sich:
- – extrem niedrige Reibungsverluste im ganzen Drehzahlbereich und dadurch keine nennenswerte Wärmeentwicklung
- – sehr vereinfachte Montage des Aggregats Kugellager/Sperrvorrichtung, da nur die Toleranzen für die Kugellagermontage berücksichtigt werden müssen
- – flache Ausführung aus Metall, das mit Lot eine zuverlässige flächendeckende Verbindung mit dem Kugellager aufweist
- – die Vorrichtung ist wartungsfrei
- – wichtiger Nebeneffekt: die Sperrvorrichtung entwickelt deutlich weniger Wärme als das Kugellager und somit kühlt sie das angegliederte Kugellager zusätzlich ab und führt so zur Erhöhung seiner Grenzdrehzahl.
