Das erfindungsgemäße Bauteil, welches bevorzugt als ein Zweikomponenten-Kunststoffteil ausgebildet ist, weist einen abgestimmten Hartkunststoffanteil auf, um dadurch einen ausreichenden Deformationsweg des Bauteils bei einem Kopfaufprall einer Person auf die Motorhaube sicherzustellen, so dass das Fahrzeug beispielsweise bei einer Fußgängerschutzprüfung gute Bewertungen erzielt und bei einem realen Aufprall eines Fußgängers oder einer anderen Person ein Verletzungsrisiko deutlich reduziert ist. Zu diesem Zweck weist der sich bei einem derartigen Kopfaufprall verformende Teilbereich des Bauteils eine Härte von 50 Shore A bis 75 Shore A auf, um den ausreichenden Deformationsweg zu ermöglichen. Zudem sind durch das Bauteil die Anforderungen hinsichtlich der Kaltluftansaugung und der Motorraumabdichtung erfüllt, da durch das Bauteil eine ausreichend hohe Dichtkraft sichergestellt ist, um eine gute Abdichtung des Motorraums und einen ausreichenden Staudruck für die Kaltluftansaugung zu ermöglichen.By this component, a seal of the engine compartment is possible in consideration of requirements of a cold air intake of an internal combustion engine and in particular taking into account pedestrian protection requirements.
