Abstract

The device has a pressure pad provided in edge area of sensitive regions to be protected, where the device comprises soft and resilient material i.e. polyurethane gel, and positively encloses a foot of a human. Surfaces of the polyurethane gel are coated with polyurethane coating. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a device for protecting sensitive regions and preventing pressure points on a foot of immobile and mobile humans.

Es können aber auch als Konstruktionsvariante z. B. für vorgeschädigte oder operierte Füße zusätzliche Einschnitte und Öffnungen mit einem geeigneten Verschlussmechanismus (z. B. Klettband) angebracht werden.
