Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schwingungsdämpfer zum Einsatz bei der Drehbearbeitung von Werkstücken mit Hohlräumen. Beispielsweise treten beim Gewindedrehen an den Endbereichen von Großrohren Schwingungen auf, welche unerwünschte Schwingungsmarkierungen oder Rattermarken verursachen. Außerdem wirken sich die Schwingungen negativ auf den Werkzeugverschleiß und die Bearbeitungsqualität aus. Es ist bekannt die Rohrenden mit elastischen Stopfen zu verschließen, welche innerhalb enger Grenzen eine gewisse Dämpfung bewirken können. Häufig ist die erzielte Dämpfungswirkung jedoch nicht ausreichend, weshalb in Abhängigkeit von der Wandstärke der Werkstücke die Schnittparameter angepasst werden müssen, um die gewünschte Fertigungsqualität zu erreichen. Dieses Vorgehen verlängert zumeist die Zykluszeit und verkürzt die Werkzeugstandzeit, da optimale Schnittparameter nicht mehr genutzt werden können.The invention relates to a vibration damper for use in the turning of workpieces with cavities.
