Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren werden Verkehrsinformationen eines internetbasierten Verkehrsinformationsdienstes drahtlos zu Fahrzeugen übertragen, die jeweils eine Empfangseinheit zum Empfangen der Verkehrsinformationen und eine Steuereinheit zum Auswerten von TMC-Nachrichten aufweisen.
