Vergleichbar ist der erfindungsgemäße Kaffeeautomat beispielsweise mit der Entwicklung von Flachbildschirmen im Vergleich zu bis dahin bekannten Röhrenfernsehern, wobei moderne Flachbildschirme ebenfalls problemlos an der Wand montiert werden können und insbesondere deutlich weniger Platz verbrauchen, als die bis dahin bekannten Röhrengeräte.
