Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a handle for a door of a domestic appliance.

Such handles are known in various design and shape. So rod handles are known, which are characterized by the fact that a handle bar with one hand can be almost completely embraced and thus can be grasped both from above and from below. In addition, so-called roof handles are known in which the top of such a handle bar is closed and only from below the accessibility is ensured with fingers of one hand.

Handles for doors, such as ovens, are usually placed on the outside of the door. Especially with regard to a high number of variants of such handles for different designs of doors or different types of household appliances, the handles in development are complex and expensive.

In addition, a large number of different handles must be provided with regard to the material design of such a handle.

The object is achieved by a handle and a door for a household appliance according to the independent claims.

An inventive handle for a door of a household appliance comprises a rod-like handle profile, on which a cover panel is disposed at the opposite end faces. By such a configuration, a component-minimized handle can be provided, which ensures the possibility of a high variant formation by the separate components. A handle profile can be provided for a variety of such handle variants and by the possibility of attaching different filler panels different handle variants can be formed.

Preferably, the cover panels are arranged in the end sides, that their outer sides are arranged flush with the outer sides or surfaces of the end faces. The cover panels are thus positioned quasi sunk in the end faces. This is particularly advantageous in terms of the stable mechanical attachment of the cover and a compact design of the handle. Furthermore, this makes it possible to design a very uniform and uniform handle with respect to the surface design, which thus does not have any undesired corners and edges and protrusions. This configuration of the arrangement of the cover panels in the handle profile thus also creates a possibility, the cover panels quasi bordered at least partially circumferentially arranged by the front page. This partially framed arrangement of the cover in the handle profile favors the above advantages again.

By being mounted only on the front, a very weight-saving embodiment of the handle can be ensured here as well. Very chunky or thick designs are avoided.

It is preferably provided that the trim strip is plate-like. The advantages mentioned above are thereby reaffirmed.

It can be provided that the handle profile is an aluminum extrusion component. By such a material as well as manufacturing technology specified design many benefits can be achieved. On the one hand, a mechanically very stable component can be created in one piece, which in addition then also has low wear. The cover panels are preferably quadrangular. They are in particular designed so that they are arranged in the mounted state on the handle profile with the peripheral edge flush with the subsequent surfaces of the handle profile. As a result, unwanted edges or steps as transitions can be avoided. Impacting or the like can thus be avoided.

It is preferably provided that the cover panels and / or the handle profile are formed as aluminum extruded component. The advantages already mentioned above apply here analogously.

It is preferably provided that the cover panels are attached to the handle profile. By such a non-destructive reversible installation of the cover these can also be easily removed again, for example, for assembly purposes or the like.
