Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen elektrischen Außenläufermotor, bestehend aus einem Stator und aus einem den Stator von einer Seite her topfartig umschließenden Rotor, wobei der Stator aus einem Statorblechpaket besteht mit in Statorlängsrichtung X-X verlaufenden, umfangsgemäß voneinander beabstandeten Statornuten sowie im Stator angeordneten Statorwicklungen, wobei der topfartige Rotor an seinem Rotorboden auf seiner, einer Statorstirnseite zugekehrten Innenseite ein Lüfterrad aufweist, wodurch ein Luftstrom mit in Umfangsrichtung des Stators gerichteter Strömungskomponente erzeugt wird.
