Zusätzliche Systeme zur Beheizung des Innenraumes sind u. a. Standheizungen, Sitzheizungen u. a. m., welche vom Hersteller oder nachträglich im Fahrzeug integriert werden. Das hier vorgeschlagene Heizelement soll erfindungsgemäß in einem Dachsystem integriert sein. Dachsysteme mit einem zumindest teilweise transparenten Deckel beinhalten in der Regel ein Abschattungselement, welches starr, elastisch und/oder faltbar ausgeführt ist. Diese angegebenen Abschattungsmittel sollen als Basisstruktur, bzw. Träger, des vorgeschlagenen Heizelements dienen.
