Ventilöffnung und Ventilsitz werden beim Spritzen des Ventilsitzkörpers gleich mit ausgeformt. Durch die Elastizität des Kunststoffs wird im Schließzustand des Ventils eine gute Dichtheit gewährleistet. Die topfförmige Gestaltung des Ventilsitzkörpers ermöglicht durch eine einfache Längenänderung des Topfmantels Anforderungen an vorgesetzte Abspritzpunkte des Ventils zu erfüllen. In den Zumessöffnung und Ventilsitz aufweisenden Topfboden können bei der Herstellung des Kunststoffteils zu der Zumessöffnung führende Strömungsnuten eingeformt werden, so dass das bekannte Anschleifen des mit dem Ventilsitz zusammenwirkenden Schließkopfs des Ventilglieds, um den Kraftstoff am Schließkopf vorbeizuführen, entfallen kann. Zudem können durch eine beim Herstellprozess des Kunststoffteils einfach zu gestaltende, angepasste Form des Topfmantels dem Ventilsitzkörper weitere Aufgaben zugewiesen werden. Z. B. ist gemäß einer vorteilhaften Ausführungsform der Erfindung an den Topfmantel ein Radialflansch angeformt, der zur Sicherung und Anlage eines für den Einbau des Ventils in den Motor erforderlichen Dichtungs- oder Anschlagsrings dient.
