Abstract

The apparatus has a housing (20) serving as a handle, and a piece of a dental floss (14) extending between ends of a fork (10) for cleaning of interdental spaces. Coils i.e. supply reels, are arranged in the housing with a dental floss stock. Dental floss ends are secured at a take-up reel for retaining the floss. The coils are manually drivable for rolling the dental floss, and blocked by a releasable blocking device. A knob (40) is connected with the take-up reel in a torque-proof manner for driving the take-up reel. A brake is provided that at the supply reel in an unwinding direction.
