Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erfassung einer Sitzbelegung zumindest im vorderen Bereich eines Fahrzeuges (1) angeordneter Fahrzeugsitze (2, 3) mittels einer Bilderfassungseinheit (8). Erfindungsgemäß ist ein Erfassungsbereich (E) der Bilderfassungseinheit (8) derart ausgerichtet, dass anhand erfasster Bilddaten ermittelt wird, wovon der jeweilige Fahrzeugsitz (2, 3) belegt ist, wobei bei erfasstem Insassen (4) auf dem jeweiligen Fahrzeugsitz (2, 3) eine Körperkontur, eine Körperposition in Bezug auf den entsprechenden Fahrzeugsitz (2, 3) und eine Körperhaltung des Insassen (4) ermittelt wird.The invention relates to a method for detecting a seat occupancy at least in the front region of a vehicle (1) arranged vehicle seats (2, 3) by means of an image capture unit (8).
