Abstract

Der Verdichter verdichtet dabei die angesaugte Luft und führt diese der Brennkraftmaschine zu. Normalerweise ist die Welle über eine Radiallageranordnung in dem Lagergehäuse gelagert. Aufgrund von Fluidströmungen, die an dem Turbinenrad und dem Verdichterrad angreifen, können starke Axialkräfte auftreten. Solche Axialkräfte können von den Radiallagern im Allgemeinen nicht geeignet aufgenommen werden.
