Das bislang eingesetzte Material ist nicht vollständig hydrolysebeständig. Hinzu kommt, dass die Innenoberfläche des Rohres rau ausgebildet ist, da die Glasfasern hervorstehen. Dies führt zum Auswaschen der Glasfasern im Einsatzfall und zu erhöhtem Druckverlust bei der Durchströmung von Wasser, beispielsweise von Kühlwasser im Fahrzeug.The previously used material is not completely hydrolysis resistant.
