Gleichzeitig wird zwischen dem obersten Bogen und dem Folgebogen mittels Bläser ein Luftpolster aufgebaut, welches die Trennung des obersten Bogens vom Folgebogen und den Transport des obersten Bogens mit der Vorderkante zur diesen in die Bogen verarbeitende Maschine fördernden Bogentransporteinrichtung unterstützt. Die Transportsauger führen eine in oder entgegengesetzt zur Bogentransportrichtung gerichtete Bewegung aus, durch die der vereinzelte Bogen mit der Vorderkante von der nachgeordneten Bogentransporteinrichtung erfasst wird.
