- – Mehrere LED-Chips sind vorteilhaft in Reihe geschaltet, um die Verlustleistung des Vorwiderstandes zu verringern. Dadurch und durch die guten Wärmeableitfähigkeiten der COB-LEDs ergeben sich sehr niedrige Temperaturen, was wiederum eine deutliche Helligkeitssteigerung bewirkt.
- – Die Lage des Brennpunktes der LED-Lampe entspricht dem der Standard-Glassockellampe, so dass entsprechende Optiken (z. B. für ein Leselicht) auch mit der LED-Lampe funktionieren.
