Abstract
The method involves providing markers (30) at or in a belt. A detector (31) is attached with the markers. A specific relative position of the marker to the detector is determined. An electrical/electromagnetic field and a radiation field are generated by the markers, where the fields are detected by the detector. A drive of the belt is controlled such that a deviation from the reference position of the belt is regulated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a belt drive with a belt (2) a belt for conveying articles.
