Die Verwendung mit handgeführten Staubsaugern ist für viele Kombi-Bodendüsen nicht möglich, weil die über das Gelenk abgestützten Gewichte dynamisch nicht aufgefangen werden. Von der normalen Arbeitshaltung auf einem ebenen Boden ausgehend, stellt vor allem der obere Begrenzungspunkt der vertikalen Schwenkbewegung des Gelenks eine hochbelastete Stelle dar. Wenn das Vorsatzgehäuse der Bodendüse aus einer angehobenen Position bei einer Fallsituation den Boden kontaktiert, werden alle Gewichte oberhalb des Gelenks, wie das eines handgeführten Staubsaugers, über das Gelenk in den Korpus eingeleitet. Bei leicht versetzten Kraftachsen wird das Gelenk entsprechend seines Freiheitsgrades bis zum Erreichen der Endposition geschwenkt und es tritt in dieser Endlage ein abrupter Kraftschluß mit enormen Energiespitzen auf, die mit sinnvoll vertretbaren Verstärkungsmaßnahmen nicht aufgefangen werden.Attachment housings for receiving and forming floor nozzles of this type are provided with a joint between the vacuum cleaner and the attachment housing for better maneuverability and guidance.
