Abstract

The device has guiding surfaces (7, 8) that guide a print substrate into a slide contact on a preset path. Supporting plates (9) are arranged at contact points on the guiding surfaces. The surfaces consist of soft and wear resistant composite material. The plates are arranged in a transporting device. The conducting surfaces comprise of suction nozzles or air blast nozzles for a pneumatic print substrate guide. An air cooling device is attached to an air supply device or air blast nozzles for cooling the print substrate. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a printing machine with a guiding device (2) a paper seat printing machine with the guiding device.
