Wenn diese Displays in einer anderen Anzeige integriert sind und beispielsweise mit einem Ringzeiger umgeben werden, ist ein hoher konstruktiver Aufwand erforderlich, dass die Fläche innerhalb des Ringes vollständig zur Darstellung von Informationen genutzt werden kann, da die elektrooptischen Displays eine rechteckige Grundfläche aufweisen. Deshalb ist es auch bekannt, die Displayfläche derart auszubilden, dass sie die Fläche innerhalb des Ringes vollständig verdeckt und so durch ihre rechteckige Ausgestaltung auch unterhalb des Ringzeigers angeordnet sein muss. Dies führt beispielsweise zu einer aufwendigen Ausgestaltung der Beleuchtung des Ringzeigers in Form von beispielsweise Elektrolumineszenzfolien. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher, eine Anzeige mit einem elektrooptischen Display anzugeben, bei der das elektrooptische Display innerhalb eines nicht rechteckigen Raumes angeordnet ist und das dennoch keine aufwendigen konstruktiven Lösungen erfordert. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass zwischen dem elektrooptischen Display und einem Beobachter der Anzeige eine Vergrößerungslinse angeordnet ist.
