Abstract

Eine Leuchteneinheit für einen Fahrzeugscheinwerfer weist eine Projektorlinse auf, die auf einer optischen Achse angeordnet ist, die sich in Längsrichtung eines Fahrzeugs erstreckt, sowie ein Halbleiter-Lichtemissionselement, das einen lichtemittierenden Chip mit einem geradlinig verlaufenden unteren Endrand aufweist. Das Halbleiter-Lichtemissionselement ist an der Rückseite der nach vorn weisenden Projektorlinse angeordnet, so dass der untere Endrand auf der optischen Achse angeordnet ist. Die Projektorlinse projiziert Licht von einem Punkt auf der optischen Achse des unteren Endrandes innerhalb eines vertikalen Querschnitts als paralleles Licht und projiziert Licht von einem Punkt auf der optischen Achse des unteren Endrandes innerhalb eines horizontalen Querschnitts als diffuses Licht.
