Abstract
The wind power plant has a rotor installed on a pod (12), and a generator (16) with a stator (21) and rotor (13), whereby the rotor (23) of the generator is coupled to the rotor of the power plant. The generator is installed on the rotor side facing away from the pod (12). The stator is fastened on journal (20) extending from the pod through the rotor hub (14). The journal serves as a bearing for the rotor. For the transmission of rotor torque to the rotor of the generator the generator rotor is connected directly to the rotor hub of the power plant.
