Die Zwischenwellen sind durch jeweils zugeordnete Zahnradstufen zur Bildung von Gangübersetzungen wahlweise mit einer ersten oder mitt einer zweiten jeweils in einem Kraftfluss zu einem Getriebeausgang liegenden Vorgelegewelle in Antriebsverbindung bringbar, welche sowohl zueinander als auch zur Eingangswelle parallel angeordnet sind. Zu den den Zwischenwellen zugeordneten Zahnradstufen gehören gebundene, an der Bildung von jeweils zwei Gangübersetzungen beteiligte Zahnradstufen, von denen eine mit ihrem einen ausgangsseitigen Zahnrad zur Bildung einer Rückwärtsgang-Übersetzung unter Vermittlung eines Umkehrzahnrades verwendet ist.
