Abstract

The connecting arrangement on motor vehicles between a fuel tank (8) and floor structure of the body of the vehicle has two oppositely disposed longitudinal supports (3,4) and two oppositely disposed cross members (5,6) interconnecting the longitudinal supports in the vehicle's transverse direction and connected into a closed frame (7). The fuel tank is constructed in such a way that it can be fitted and fastened in the aforesaid frame. The fuel tank has one or more flange structures (9) by which it is supported on the longitudinal and/or cross members of the frame.
