Obwohl zahlreiche Lösungen nach dem Prinzip der Unterkiefer-Vorverlagerung zur Therapie solcher Atmungsstörungen entwickelt wurden, hat noch keine Ausführungsart eine dem Bedarf entsprechende, massenhafte Anwendung gefunden.
