Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Bestimmung mindestens einer Verbrennungsgröße (lambda) eines Verbrennungsvorgangs im Brennraum (2) eines Verbrennungsmotors (1) bei dynamischem Motorbetrieb, wobei ein während des Verbrennungsvorgangs im Brennraum (2) infolge einer Prüfspannung (P) erzeugtes Ionisationssignal (I¶S¶) mittels eines die dynamische Änderung der Brennraumgeometrie (2a, 2b, 2c) berücksichtigenden Werteverlaufs (L¶G¶,L'¶G¶) korrigiert wird.The invention relates to a method and a device for determining at least one combustion variable (lambda) of a combustion process in the combustion chamber (2) of an internal combustion engine (1) during dynamic engine operation, wherein an ionization signal generated during the combustion process in the combustion chamber (2) as a result of a test voltage (P) (I¶S¶) is corrected by means of a dynamic change of the combustion chamber geometry (2a, 2b, 2c) taking into account the value course (L¶G¶, L'¶G¶).
