Abstract

The shoe sole cleaning device has an electrically-driven rotating wiping mat, for providing cleaning of the shoe sole without requiring movement of the foot. The rotation of the wiping mat by an electric motor drive (3) is initiated by a sensor switch (4) operated when a foot is placed on a tread grid (1) above the wiping mat, with the removed dirt collected by a reception container (6), at the side of the tread grid, for subsequent removal.

The invention relates to a device for cleaning shoe soles of all kinds.
