Abstract
Method for controlling a light source (2.3) in the event of falling asleep and sleeping through, as follows:
- the light source (2.3) is dimmed after an adjustable initial brightness (1.1) with an adjustable dimming speed (1.2, 1.7, 1.12) from an initial brightness level (1.1) to an adjustable lower brightness level (1.3, 1.8, 1.13),
- after environmental stimuli recorded via noise and motion sensors with adjustable stimulation thresholds (
latency (1.4, 1.9) and / or frequency of stimuli until reaction to environmental stimuli and / or refractory period (1.14) until renewed perception of environmental stimuli can be set after an on / off dimming sequence,
- The light source (2.3) is after an adjustable intermittent bright time (1.6, 1.11) with the dimming speed (1.2, 1.7, 1.12) from the upper brightness level (1.6, 1.11) to the lower brightness level (1.3, 1.8 , 1.13) dimmed.

In the medical literature becomes the impairment of eye growth through during the night all the time brightened bedrooms discussed. A lighting system that can be used in quiet situations automatically switches off and automatically detects demand situations and then activating itself would be a desirable, eye-protecting innovation.
This problem is resolved through a process with the features of claim 1 and a device with solved the features of claim 2.
