Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anlage zum Trocknen von Zigaretten, Zigarillos od. dgl. in Behältern, z. B. Zigarettenschragen. Außer waagerecht liegenden oder auch aufrecht stehenden Trockenschächten, in welche die mit Zigaretten gefüllten Schragen neben- bzw. übereinander eingestellt werden, sind auch kontinuierlich arbeitende Trockenapparate bekannt, bei denen die mit Zigaretten gefüllten Schragen durch einen waagerechten Kanal geschoben und durch Warmluft getrocknet werden. Außerdem gibt es Trockenanlagen, bei denen die Schragen auf einem Drehtisch durch einen ringförmigen Trockenraum geführt werden, so daß die Aufgabe des feuchten und Entnahme des getrockneten Gutes vom gleichen Arbeitsplatz aus erfolgt.
