Die in Fig. 1 dargestellte Rückenstütze 1 ist auf dem Sitzbrett 18 einer Bank angeordnet in Gebrauchslage dargestellt. Die Rückenstütze 1 weist Stütz teile 2 sowie eine Rückenlehne 9 auf, wobei zur Rückenstütze 1 auch ein Sitzkissen 16 gehören kann, das in der Zeichnung strichpunktiert dargestellt ist. Die Stützteile 2 sind durch zwei Stützstreben 3 und durch zwei Stütz holme 8 gebildet. Die Stützstreben 3 weisen einen zum Umfassen des vor deren Randes 19 des Sitzbrettes 18 vorgesehenen gekrümmten Abschnitt 4 auf, an den sich ein horizontaler Abschnitt 5 anschließt, der zum Aufliegen an der Sitzfläche 20 des Sitzbrettes 18 bestimmt ist. Dem horizontalen Ab schnitt 5 folgt ein vertikaler Abschnitt 6. Jeder horizontale Abschnitt 5 weist Stützabschnitte 7 auf, die sich auf einer horizontalen Ebene befinden und die auf der Sitzfläche 20 des Sitzbrettes 18 ebenfalls aufliegen und somit ein Kippen der Stützstreben 3 verhindern. Es erweist sich als nützlich, an der Rückenlehne 9, nahe des Reißverschlusses 13, eine Tragschlaufe 12' vorzu sehen, mit der sich das so geschaffene Paket 17 bequem tragen lässt.
