Dadurch können verschiedene Bürstenkörper mit ein und demselben Schaft 2 verbunden werden, so daß der Schaft als solches universell einsetzbar ist, selbst für Bürstenkörper verschiedener Größen und Formen. Die Verbindung zwischen Bürstenkörper 1 und Schaft 2 kann dabei über Schraubverbindungselemente erfolgen oder aber, wie in einer der vorteilhaften Ausgestaltungen beschrieben, mittels der hier angedeuteten Renkverbindungselemente 10, in Form eines sog. Hierzu ist in vorteilhafter Weise an der Vorderseite des Schaftes 2, also der dem Handgriff 3 abgewandten Seite des Schaftes eine tellerförmige Anformung 20 angebracht, durch welche ein guter und fester Sitz des Bürstenkörpers 1 am Schaft 2 gewährleistet ist.
