Die zur Windschutzscheibe gehende, also vom Fahrer abgewandte rückseitige Kante 18 des Gehäusekörpers 3 geht flächenbündig in die Oberseite des Schalttafelträgers 8 über. Zum Befestigen des Gehäusekörpers 3 in der Formausnehmung 4 kann ein zweiseitiger Klebestreifen 20, der auf einen Bereich 22 des Bodens 12 der Ausnehmung 4 aufgebracht ist, oder ansich beliebige Verbindungsmittel, insbesondere Schrauben, verwendet werden. Der Gehäusekörper 3 braucht nun lediglich in die Ausnehmung 4 eingesetzt und befestigt zu werden, wobei die in horizontaler Richtung wirkenden Kräfte durch die formschlüssige Anordnung des Gehäusekörpers 3 in der Ausnehmung 4 vom Schalttafelträger 8 aufgenommen werden. Die Anordnung der Kommunikationsvorrichtung 36 erfolgt über Halteteile 42 und 44, welche direkt an der Stirnseite 24 des Gehäusekörpers 3 festgelegt sind. Die Halteteile 42, 44 tragen ihrerseits spezielle Aufnahmevorrichtungen 46, 48, auf welche die Tastatureingabeeinheit 40 bzw. der Monitor 38 aufschiebbar oder aufklipsbar sind. Ferner erkennt man aus Fig. 4 eine Leitungszuführung 50, welche an der Stirnseite 24 des Gehäusekörpers 3 mündet und über einen Stecker in eine Buchse an der Rückseite des Monitors 48 mit dem Monitor 38 verbunden ist.
