Description
Vorwerkstück zum Herstellen von Nabenkörpern für Freilaufbremsnaben NabenkÖrper für Freilaufbremsnaben, insbesondere für Fahr- und Motorräder, wurden bisher entweder aus Stangen-Rundmaterial auf spanabhebendem Wege oder aber nach dem Warmpreßverfahren hergestellt. Das erstgenannte Verfahren hat den Nachteil, daß mit einem fünffachen Einsatzgewicht gearbeitet werden muß, wodurch sich das Verfahren äußerst kostspielig stellt. Das an zweiter Stelle erwähnte Warmpreßverfahren erfordert ein zweieinhalbfaches Einsatzgewicht sowie eine Vielzahl von Werkzeugen und ist außerdem mit den bekannten Mängeln aller Warmpreßverfahren, nämlich hoher Bearbeitungszugaben, Zunderbildung, einem ungleichmäßigen Gefüge sowie unterschiedlicher, von der Verformungstemperatur abhängiger Festigkeit behaftet.Pre-workpiece for the production of hub bodies for freewheel brake hubs Hub bodies for freewheel brake hubs, especially for bicycles and motorcycles, were up to now either from round bar material by machining or after produced by the hot pressing process. Auch hat das Kaltpressen eine Werkstoffverdichtung vor allen Dingen auch an der hochbeanspruchten Innenfläche der Nabe zur Folge, so daß sich nach dem Einsatzhärten hervorragende Festigkeitswerte ergeben. Schließlich hat das Ausgehen von einem Rohrabschnitt zur Folge, daß der Faserverlauf durch den Preßvorgang keine Unterbrechung erfährt, was sich gleichfalls in besonders günstigen Festigkeitseigenschaften des Nabenkörpers auswirkt.The invention aims to remedy these deficiencies and consists in the use of a seamlessly drawn pipe section of greater length than that Product to be manufactured as a preliminary workpiece for manufacturing the hub body. Eine spanabhebende Nachbearbeitung kann sich im allgemeinen auf die Außenkonturen des Nabenkörpers beschränken, da das Kaltpreßverfahren in bezug auf die vorerwähnten Innenflächen eine genügende Genauigkeit erzielen läßt. Dadurch ist die Herstellungsart gemäß der Erfindung nicht nur verfahrenstechnisch, sondern auch in bezug auf das Einsatzgewicht den bekannten Verfahren für die Herstellung von Nabenkörpern für Freilaufbremsnaben weit überlegen. Die Anwendung des Kaltpreßverfahrens als solche bildet nicht Gegenstand des Schutzes.The hub body produced using the cold pressing process is shown in FIG.
