Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine aus einem einzigen Zuschnitt hergestellte Packung für Zigaretten od. dgl. herzustellen, bei der die in der Packung enthaltene Ware bei Öffnung der Packung von möglichst vielen Seiten aus gut zugänglich ist, und die sich nach Entnahme einzelner Zigaretten od. dgl. gut und dicht verschließen läßt, und bei der ferner der erforderliche Schutz gegen klimatische Außeneinflüsse und auch die notwendige Stabilität der Packung, insbesondere in angebrochenem Zustand, auf jeden Fall gewährleistet ist Dies wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, daß die Seitenteile aus drei übereinanderliegenden Teilen bestehen, daß das in der Mitte liegende Seitenteil kürzer ist als die außen- bzw. innenliegenden Seitenteile und daß die übereinanderliegenden Seitenteile eine die über die Kippkante der Packungsrückwand hinausragenden Ansätze der Seitenwangen des abkippbaren Packungskopfes allseitig umschließende taschenartige Führung bilden. Zweckmäßigerweise ist die Packung dabei gemäß einer besonderen Ausführungsform der Erfindung so ausgestaltet, daß das an der Packungsrückwand angebrachte Seitenteil breiter ist als das mit der Vorderwand verbundene Seitenteil und um eine vorzugsweise senkrechte Falzkante nach innen umgefalzt ist, so daß bei der fertigen Packung das nach innen umgefalzte Teil zwischen den eine Tasche bildenden Seitenteilen zu liegen kommt. Vorteilhafterweise bildet dabei gemäß einer weiteren besonderen Ausführungsform der Erfindung das umgefalzte Teil eine Führung und einen Anschlag für den zwischen den angrenzenden Teilen gleitenden Ansatz der Seitenteile des Packungskopfes. -Die Erfindung wird an Hand eines Ausführungsbeispiels in Verbindung mit den Figuren näher beschrieben.
